what makes a great learner ?

this week we had to a piece of explanation writing of what a great learner shows, here is mine.

Historic Moment For Tasmanian Devils

Tasmanian devils released on too australian mainland after 3,000 years.

Tasmanian devils, which weigh up to 8 kilogrammes (18 pounds) and have a black or brown coat, typically prey on other native animals or scavenge from carcasses.According to government environmental authorities, devils are not dangerous to humans or livestock but will defend themselves if attacked and can cause serious injury.The animals – known for their extremely loud growl, powerful jaws and ferocity when confronting rivals over food or mates – are classified as endangered after a contagious facial tumour disease ravaged the remaining population in Tasmania, an island-state off the south coast of the mainland.It is estimated that fewer than 25,000 Tasmanian devils still live in the wild, down from as many as 150,000 before the fatal disease first struck in the mid-1990s.On Australia’s mainland, they are believed to have been wiped out by packs of dingoes – wild dogs native to the vast continent – an estimated 3,000 years ago.

Probability

           Today we had to do a sport and choose the probability of what could happen, me               and Shilah chose basketball & free throwing. We had to do a tree diagram and list               all of the possible outcomes on the side.

Wellingtons Unknown Tunnels

In breaker bay,wellington there is a man made cave. A man lived in there called Ross Collins. He slept in his car and sat\ate in the cave. Ross was a retied bus driver who had nowhere to go. Ross saved up enough money to put a storage area,wood planks and a couple blankets. The cave was old & grotty but it had an amazing view.

Why does Aristotle say that excellence is a habit,
what do you think he means? Never stop being excellent,
always do work hard & choose what's best for you and others around you.

Describe three habits you currently have that are the
habits of excellence. 

When is this quote not accurate?  When someone does a
selfless act of kindness to a stranger.

Can you think of single acts that are demonstrations of excellence?
When someone gives money to the homeless, When someone
joins a sport\activity When someone works very hard.
